Cakes galore!

How it all started

In 2001 I hosted a party from Cacas who at that time still held home parties.
The rest is history :-) the love for cake baking and decorating had started!
The following pictures are my first collection of cakes.

The first cake was the teddy. I had finished decorating it and was very proud. However a little 1.5 year old finger liked the tummy and so it had to be fixed ;-)

Lil C  (my daughter) turned 5 and we promptly decided to spoil her
... with lots of cakes ;-)
I bought a book which showed how to cut out numbers
and use as much of the cake as possible.. Nice!

A teddy jello, a HIT! :-D
When the little man J turned 4
we couldn't leave hime behind in choice of beautiful cakes :-)

Nice number 4!
The first cake I made upon request, the first 'job'..
Woot woot!
The same cake form for my little princess who turned 6 :-)
The same princess ordered a cake with a shoe on a pillow
'just like Cinderella'..

Momma turned 29 and made a simple chocolate cake
and had all the guests sign it with edible ink..
It is supposed to be a 'topsy turvy' cake form
but since I didn't decorate it properly,
it ended up looking like i-dunno-what!!
Another project, this time for my godson S.

Lil J loved football (still does) so of course when he turned 5,
a football cake was on the 'menu'.
However everyone saw clearly that momma weren't no football player..

Lil J is also car crazy :-)
This is a race car form but I changed the colours
to make it look like Lightning McQueen.
It worked :-)

One of my brothers-in-law turned 25.
Guess which instrument he plays :-

A cream cheese cake, lushhhhh!!!
